Due to a specific norm of Italian VAT, your registration fee for URSI GASS 2020 is VAT exempt if you are or if you apply for membership of the Italian Society of Electromagnetism (SIEm) (as a no-profit association), together with your GASS 2020 registration. The VAT exempt registration fee includes the fee for 2020 membership of SIEm.

In case you opt for not becoming a SIEm member, the GASS 2020 registration fee includes VAT (Italian VAT is 22 %). 

As a consequence, the following registration fees apply:

  • URSI Senior Membership

** To register as Student, we will require further proof of your status; this can be a scan of your student card or a letter from your university (acceptance letter or matriculation letter) or from your Head of Department

 Registration is considered confirmed only upon receipt of payment. 

The registration fee includes:

  • admission to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception
  • coffee breaks
  • unlimited access to all scientific sessions
  • access to the exhibition and poster area
  • congress material
  • USB key with proceedings 

PAYMENT

The payment of the registration fee can be done as follows:

By Bank Transfer

Please note:

– All transfer charges must be prepaid by the transmitter.
– Personal cheques, company cheques or Euro cheques will not be accepted.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

A receipt or invoice will be issued as written confirmation of your registration by the Organizing Secretariat. Confirmation letter will be sent few weeks before the congress.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS 

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to the Organizing Secretariat AIM GROUP INTERNATIONAL. Cancellations will be accepted until July 19, 2020 with a refund of all prepaid fees except for a 30% administration charge.
No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date.

CANCELLATION BEFORE JULY 19: 30% OF THE REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE WITHELD
CANCELLATION FROM JULY 20: NO REFUND

All approved refunds will be processed and issued 60 days after the congress.

ADMISSION

Participants are kindly requested to wear their name badge during the Meeting activities. The badge allows entrance to the scientific sessions and the exhibition.
Please note that children are not allowed in the Congress area throughout the duration of the Meeting. In case of negligence, the organising secretariat cannot be addressed for any responsibility.

We have received complaints about a growing number of fraudulent websites masquerading as the Organisers and offering registration, hotel bookings and other arrangements for the upcoming URSI GASS 2020. Many of these sites charge significant commissions.

These are not third-party providers to the Organisers and are not linked to the congress in any way.
We strongly recommend that anyone attending URSI GASS 2020 use only the official URSI GASS 2020 website for registration and accommodation requests: www.ursi2020.org.
